Scholarship

Since academics is the reason people go to college, Phi Mu puts scholarship first.  Phi Mu is excited to say that they made the highest GPA out of the six sororities in Spring 2008, 2009, and 2018 they are continuously above the All-Women's Average GPA at UTSA. In Spring 2015 and Fall 2015 Phi Mu once had the second highest GPA among Greek Life. In Spring 2018 Phi Mu received the highest GPA out of all Greek Life. We also take pride in having one of the highest GPA requirements on campus.

Being a part of Phi Mu makes school fun! The sisters gather weekly at Carnation Study Hall held by the chapter academic chairman. There are also fun awards given to recognize the girls that have been studying hard and doing well in their class.

Phi Mu endowed the first-of-its-kind National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) fund for an academic focus program.  Phi Mu also programs a commitment to learning into its chapter and member development efforts, and through Phi Mu Foundation, recognizes outstanding academic achievement through awards programs, such as a silver charm for members who achieve a 4.0 for a semester, and over $100,000 in scholarships each year for undergraduate and graduate members who excel academically.
