Steadfast in Sisterhood
For sisters, Phi Mu can mean many different things. To a new member, joining Phi Mu is having sisters to call day or night and friends you can turn to for anything. It’s having a home away from home. It’s becoming the best version of yourself with sisters cheering you on through some of the most formative years of your life. It’s about traditions and values – but more than that, it’s about sharing a bond with women who want the best for you and see the best in you.
Our Phi Mu Creed calls our members to uphold our values of love, honor and truth by:
- Loving our sisters for who they are and help them grow into the best versions of themselves. Love means that we support each other, care for one another, and are guided by actions that encourage, inspire, and build each other up.
- Honoring our commitments to our sisterhood and to each other. We honor the hearts of our members, and celebrate their different backgrounds, pasts and futures. Honor means that we strive to achieve our best and fight for what we believe in to make the world a better place.
- Striving to create a sisterhood where each sister can live as the truest version of herself. To be truthful is to be honest and authentic; it is doing the right thing, even when it isn’t the easy or popular choice.

Epsilon Sigma's Sisterhood
At Phi Mu, sisterhood is the heart of everything we do. We believe that strong, genuine connections turn a group of women into a lifelong family. That is why we prioritize meaningful sisterhood events throughout the year. From movie nights and pilates, to retreats and impromptu hangouts, our events bring us closer together. These moments give our members time to bond, recharge, and create memories that last long after college. Alexis Nguyen shares, “Phi Mu has been so much more than just a sorority to me; it has truly shaped my college experience in ways I never imagined. I found a sisterhood that became my home, filled with women who supported, challenged, and inspired me every single day. It is where I learned the meaning of genuine friendships, loyalty, and the kind of love that lasts far beyond my college years. Being part of Phi Mu has given my college journey a purpose, community, and memories I will cherish for the rest of my life. LIOB.” Sirley Chavez says, “When moving from a small town, I knew college would be a big shift. I wanted to be part of something bigger and found that through Phi Mu. I felt the love and energy right away. This sisterhood made me more confident, helped me grow, and gave me the best friends I could have ever asked for.
